One dry white wine that is notable for its complexity and balance is the Adventure (Abenteuer) Riesling Dry. This wine, which comes from the finest vines on one hillside in Minheim, is a wonderful example of the Mosel terroir and Tom Benz's commitment to excellence.
The Riesling grapes were produced in vineyards on the slopes of Günterslay, Burglay, and the Kapellchen vineyard; these vineyards are distinguished by their slate stone, gravel, and clay soils.
The wine has a distinct taste and a strong minerality thanks to these soils.
